We will achieve this through our sustainability ambitions, and by working towards the goals we set for ourselves.

Melbye's sustainability work awarded Silver by EcoVadis
Here's something we are very proud of!
For the first time, Melbye has been evaluated by global third-party certifying company and independent platform EcoVadis.
EcoVadis follows up work with the environment, labor, ethics and human rights as well as sustainable procurement to secure our ambitions regarding sustainability. For our customers and suppliers, it is an assurance to know that we have been awarded Silver by EcoVadis and that we can meet their demands for a sustainable way of working.
Silver means that our sustainability work is among the top 25 percent of all ranked companies. Going forward, we will work on improvements to strengthen ourselves further.

The green transition
We currently find ourselves in the midst of the “green transition”, which means that we all need to adapt to a society in which growth and development take place within nature’s boundaries. At Melbye, we will contribute to this transition by implementing tangible measures in line with our sustainability strategy. In this way, we can lead our company in a more sustainable direction, while also contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
As a commercial company, and as part of an extensive value chain, Melbye is in a position to influence efforts with regard to our climate, the environment and human rights. We must work on sustainability in a way that is targeted and relevant to our business. This means that we focus our attention on those areas that matter most to our surroundings and where we can have the greatest impact.
