Knowledge of sustainability
Our internal sustainability expertise will be a very important factor in years to come. Our long-term goal, therefore, is to integrate this into our professional expertise.
In order to strengthen our internal knowledge of sustainability, to date we have taken the following measures:
Mandatory basic training on sustainability is sent out to all employees. This is also part of our onboarding programme for new employees.
An internal sustainability kick-off was held, including a workshop for all employees and a presentation of the sustainability strategy.
We also use our intranet to actively communicate information on various sustainability topics to employees.
A safe and inclusive workplace
At Melbye, we place a high value on the well-being of our employees. We therefore follow up on all our employees, and we conduct regular well-being surveys.
Equality, diversity and inclusion are important to us at Melbye. In recent years, we have placed an additional focus on bringing in more younger employees, and on employing more women within the company.
Melbye also aims to be a good and safe workplace. We have therefore organised our work on health, safety and the environment (HSE) through our HSE policy. We carry out risk assessments and safety inspections, and we also support health-promoting schemes.
In addition to the development of our expertise in sustainability, we also focus on development of skills in other disciplines. Over the past year, we have made a system containing various digital courses available to our employees, and we have held an internal company course.
In the long term, our goal is to be an attractive and modern workplace for everyone.
