Lubricants for Blowing and Pulling

Cable lubricants is designed to make it easier to blow and pull cables through pipes and microducts. It reduces the amount of friction between cables and ducts to help minimize damage and make blowing and pulling smoother, safer, and faster.

PreLube 5000 240ml Microcable Blowing Lubricant

1693890

Reduces frictional drag during the blowing of small diameter fiber optic microcable into microtube duct. It increases installation distance of cable in a single shot. The improved chemistry allows this product to spread farther and reduce friction at extremely low coating levels. Can be used with all microcable jackets. Spread lubricant into microduct by blowing a foam carrier or sponge as many times as necessary to avoid lubricant puddling near the entrance of the duct.

PreLube 2000 0,95L

1693891

Reduces frictional drag during the blowing of outside plant fiber optic cable into duct. It increases the distance cable can be installed in a continuous length. Prelube 2000 can also be used to blow in empty microducts for future microcable installation. The friction reduction shown for Prelube 2000 can increase installation distance by a factor of 5 or more versus unlubricated duct.

PreLube 2000 3,8L

1693892

Reduces frictional drag during the blowing of outside plant fiber optic cable into duct. It increases the distance cable can be installed in a continuous length. Prelube 2000 can also be used to blow in empty microducts for future microcable installation. The friction reduction shown for Prelube 2000 can increase installation distance by a factor of 5 or more versus unlubricated duct.

PreLube 2000 Wintergrade 0,95L

Lubricant F 0,95L

1693895

A high-performance, pourable liquid recommended for pulling underground fiber optic cable. It is also suitable for pulling coaxial and copper-pair cable. A thick liquid, and is applied by pouring or pumping the lubricant into the duct system. Wets and clings to cable jacket and evenly coats the jacket surface. It continues to lubricate by leaving film after its water base has evaporated. It is compatible with a broad range of cable jackets, including polyethylene (PE) types.
